The Storm of Things

This is a card game (in ASHCAN WORK IN PROGRESS STATE)

It’s about some Queer friends in London, who amidst the difficulties of our fucked world. Do their best to be there for each other, grow together, and build something for themselves and for their community.

They prepare to face The Storm of Things.

The Storm has grown since the first Man that thought he owed land. Through conquest and repression and genocide it has grown and grown and rages on.

Build your home, serve your community, stand by one another, face the Storms next peak. 

Perhaps it is not while we live that the clouds will part. Nevertheless the tools and homes and lives we live now, we pass on to those that might yet live to see the sky, open and free.

This game was made as part of QUEER GAME JAM SEPTEMBER 2024 here on itch,io. It is a little rough but playable, and my playtest guinea pigs called it fun and very interesting.

I recommend playing with people you want to build something with ;) Queer friends, chosen families and anyone else you love and care about.
